Patrícia Rosário

Patrícia Rosário is a qualified Portuguese lawyer and managing partner of Rosario Consulting Group. She holds a J.D. from the Catholic University of Lisbon and an LL.M in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the University of London, Queen Mary.

Patrícia has professional expertise in international contract management and international arbitration. Her experience also includes structuring investments in Africa and Europe. Patrícia has acted for international developers, employers and contractors in some of the largest and most complex building and engineering projects undertaken in Europe and Africa and was involved in legislative drafting and public affairs advice.

Patrícia's practice centers also on alternative dispute resolution. She advises parties with respect to arbitration proceedings in different countries and under all the major arbitration systems including: International Chamber of Commerce, International Centre for the Settlement of Investment Disputes, London Court of International Arbitration and UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules in English, Spanish and Portuguese languages.

Patrícia is a qualified international arbitrator at the Dubai International Arbitration Centre, member of the Swiss Arbitration Association, the Brazilian Arbitration Committee, the Belgian Arbitration Association, the British Institute of International and Comparative Law and the London Centre of International Arbitration - Young International Arbitration Group. Patrícia is a co-founder of the Alumni and Friends of the School of International Arbitration - Queen Mary in Portugal.

Before the foundation of Rosario Consulting Group Patrícia worked in two American law firms in the International Arbitration Department in London and Paris and at the International Court of Arbitration at the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) in Paris.

Patrícia is fluent in Portuguese, English, French and Spanish.

Paolo Esposito

Paolo Esposito is director at Rosario Consulting Group and a dual qualified lawyer as avvocato in Italy and solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales. He holds a Master degree in Law from the University of Napoli Federico II, a LL.M. in Comparative and International Dispute Resolution from the University of London, Queen Mary and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (FCIArb, London).

Paolo has substantial experience in advising European and African clients across a range of industries in relation to standard form and bespoke contracts and documentation, with a particular emphasis on international trade, joint-ventures and production sharing agreements, onshore and offshore exploration, mining and oil & gas projects. Amongst others, he is special advisor and counsel for several mining companies.

He has wide experience in both domestic and international disputes, and specialises in the resolution of a wide range of commercial and investment disputes through arbitration. Paolo regularly advises clients and has acted in a range of large international arbitration proceedings conducted in various jurisdictions and governed by various substantive laws and procedural rules, including amongst others arbitrations under ICC, LCIA, Milan Arbitration Chamber, UNCITRAL and other ad hoc. He has also advised clients on a range of public international law issues including matters under Bilateral Investment Treaties and the Energy Charter Treaty.

Paolo has experience as mediator and member of panel of arbitrators. He is member of the General Commercial Panel of the Arbitration Foundation of Southern Africa (AFSA); member of the Young International Arbitrators Group of the LCIA and the ICDR's Young & International Association (AAA); delegate to National Committees for the AFSIA Steering Committee, Queen Mary University of London.

In addition, Paolo Esposito is Tutor and Examiner at the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators in London, where he teaches international arbitration. He has published articles on international arbitrations, natural resources and energy topics.
